Kyklos launches a new and promising collaboration with the islands of Naxos and Santorini.
For the first time, the three islands join forces in a shared cultural initiative aimed at promoting emerging artists and their work.
The initiative is titled “Aigaiogrammo,” inspired by the ferry route that connects Paros, Naxos, and Santorini — a symbolic cultural route across the Aegean, where music travels from island to island.
The first three-day musical journey of “Aigaiogrammo” will take place as follows:
- Friday, January 30 – Paros
- Saturday, January 31 – Naxos
- Sunday, February 1 – Santorini
The first artists inaugurating the “Aigaiogrammo” initiative are singer-songwriter Ilias Vamvakousis, together with the outstanding musicians Nikolaos Zournis (guitar) and Despoina Spanou (cello)
Through “Aigaiogrammo,” Paros Kyklos and the collaborating cultural bodies of the three islands aspire to establish a lasting cultural institution that will give a platform to new artistic voices and strengthen the cultural connection and identity of the Aegean.
