This summer, Opera Under the Stars celebrates a remarkable milestone as it marks ten years of bringing world-class opera to the unique setting of Paros Park.

Since its first edition in 2017, the concert has grown into one of the island’s most cherished cultural traditions, bringing together outstanding Greek opera artists and the spectacular natural beauty of the Aegean landscape. At the heart of this journey has been the Mythodia Conservatory Choir, under the musical direction of Maroulia Kontou, whose dedication and artistic vision have helped shape the concert throughout the past decade.

The anniversary performance on 29 July 2026 features tenor Giannis Filias, sopranos Stella Markou, Evdokia Moysidou and Maria Katrivesi, pianist Dimitris Giakas, together with the Mythodia Conservatory Choir, promising an unforgettable evening of celebrated operatic masterpieces beneath the stars.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also pay tribute to the many artists, musicians, volunteers and supporters whose passion and commitment have made Opera Under the Stars possible over the past ten years.
