Pita (Vassilopita) Cutting
Join Kyklos Paros for the ‘Pita Cutting’ ceremony on Monday, January 22nd at 6:15 pm.
The Mayor, Mr Kostas Bizas, and the vice-mayors for Culture & Arts, Ms Anna Kagani, and for Environment & Quality of Life, Mr Themis Karpodinis will be present at the event to discuss their views on the current cultural and other developments and their plans for Paros.
The ceremony will take place at the Municipal Arts Centre (Dimitrakopoulos building), located at Old Market Street.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

About Pita Cutting
In Greece, it is a common tradition for households and organizations to hold a special ceremony in January to cut the Vassilopita, a type of pie, in order to bring good luck for the year. A coin, also known as flouri, is wrapped and hidden inside the pie.
