Kyklos Paros presents another evening of the AIGAIOGRAMMO Concert Series, featuring the distinctive Greek folk-rock group ALKMAN.
ALKMAN creates a unique musical language by blending traditional Greek folk music with elements of rock, resulting in a powerful and atmospheric sound. Their compositions draw on poetic expression, rhythmic intensity, and contemporary interpretation of traditional influences.
The group has released works including the album “Xana kai xana” (Ξανά και ξανά – “Again and again”), and continues to develop a sound that bridges heritage and modern musical expression. Their name is inspired by Alcman, the ancient Greek lyric poet of the 7th century BC, reflecting a deep connection between poetry and music.
