Hello friends,
We are a small theatre group, “La cerise sur le plateau “from Normandy, preparing three projects.
Our theatre is a body language theatre, and it’s essential for us to give to look at public live scenes, action designs, and images and not to give only text and conversations.
The first in the planning work is a duo who tells love stories of Jacques le Fataliste (an adaptation of a part of “Jacques et son Maître” from Diderot).
At the same time, it’s funny and philosophical, light and profound, and the text and the purpose permit the use of absurd and comedian dell’arte codes.
The two talented comedians are Nadia and Nathan, and Marc is the director.
Timing is around 1h10, and it’s for all audiences.
The title is “les amours de Jacques le Fataliste », it’ll be presented at Petra’s place, in Kakapetra.
The second one is a solo “Histoire d’un merle blanc (“Story of a white blackbird”) from Alfred de Musset.
It tells the Story of an artist (the blackbird) with the society rejected because he is different (white).
It also tells how this bird (the author) was duped and disappointed by his mistress (the woman writer, George Sand).
It’s full of irony and soft melancholy… but funny and very optimistic.
Marc will direct Ferdinand, a young, talented comedian who manages mime, dance, singing, acrobatics, mask, etc. He will play this role alone for around one hour.
It’s for all audiences and will be presented at Petra’s place on the 18th of September at 19h30.
The third project is a duo around the poetic text of Maurice Blanchot’s “La Folie du Jour” (“The Madness of the Day”) – two comedians, Ferdinand and Marc, directed by Samir Saed, which is the famous actor and director from the “Theatre du Soleil” ( Ariane Mnouchkine).
It’s a metaphoric story of the author’s life that mixes concrete and abstract, a beautiful and profound text by the two comedians, who are the same person.
We will work with many genres and styles, using commedia, Brecht’s style, argentin tango, pantomime and others.
It’s for an adult audience and lasts 1h15.
It will be on the 1st of October, the place to be confirmed.

Bonjour, nous sommes une petite troupe basée en Normandie, « la cerise sur le plateau » et pratiquons un théâtre d’action, de sens , où l’humour, l’expression et énergie doivent donner du relief au texte.
Nous sommes très attachés à cette exigence de respect du public.
Nous présenterons en 1 mois 3 spectacles différents.
La première pièce est un duo sur une adaptation de Francis Huster, du fameux texte de Diderot , elle a pour titre « les amours de Jacques, le fataliste »… ça parle d’amour, bien sûr mais aussi d’existence, d’amitié. C’est plein de surprises, d’esprit, de drôlerie, et sur ces joutes au sujet des amours des protagonistes, nous avons travaillé le burlesque, la commedia, l’absurde pour ce texte savoureux, qui se prête à merveille, au jeu clownesque … deux acteurs débordant d’énergie et beaucoup de travail en amont , Nadia Haddek et Nathan Houzé , mise en scène. La seconde pièce est un solo sur un texte d Alfred de Musset: « Histoire d un Merle Blanc » … interprétée par un brillant jeune comédien : Ferdinand Chenot , mise en scène marc Lemoine…
Après sa rupture avec George Sand, Musset a écrit ce texte plein de saveur, d ironie, de mélancolie et de puissance où le comique et le tragique jouent à cache cache dans les becs d une société d oiseaux … les portraits ( qui pourraient être actuels) les propos n ont pas pris une ride et à travers un récit d aventures dans ce monde d oiseaux on vit les déconvenues mais surtout les révélations du poète romantique face au monde …
Spectacle très visuel , musical, une belle surprise poétique… durée 1h10 , tout public ,

La 3ème pièce , un duo sur le texte de Maurice Blanchot « la Folie du Jour », texte poétique et philosophique où les deux interprètes sont le même personnage , traversé par des tableaux puissants où le langage du corps exprime un récit intérieur, profond , drôle et très sensible…
